TORNADO DAMAGE UPDATE
Dear Vineyard Family,
We wanted to provide you with an update following yesterday's severe weather.
A confirmed EF-1 tornado impacted both our main church building and our secondary building. At the time the tornado struck, one family was sheltering inside the church, and we are incredibly grateful to report that there were no injuries. We praise God for His protection and faithfulness.
The buildings did sustain extensive exterior damage, including significant damage to the siding, trim, soffit, and roof. The good news is that there is no structural damage, and the property has been determined to be safe.
Our ministry will continue without interruption. Sunday services, ministries, and church activities will move forward as planned while we work through the repair process.
We are already in contact with our insurance company and are beginning the process of planning and completing the necessary repairs.
If you would like to help support these unexpected expenses and invest in the future of our church home, you can make a gift to our Building Fund using the link below:

Most importantly, we ask that you join us in thanking God for His protection and provision. Please also keep in prayer the many families in Freeland and the surrounding communities who were impacted by this tornado. May the Lord bring comfort, strength, and restoration to all who have suffered loss.
As Scripture reminds us:
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
— Psalm 46:1
Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and the way you continue to be the Church in every circumstance.
With gratitude,
Pastor Mike Leiter
