WELCOME

Welcome to the Vineyard. Please browse this site to learn about us. The information below will answer some of your basic questions.

CONNECT

If you are new with us, we would love to connect with you. We are a brand new church and we'd love to learn more about you so we can explore ways we can grow together in our relationship with God and as spiritual leaders in our families. We invite you to fill out our Connection Form and someone will be in touch with you soon.

STARTING POINT: NEWCOMER'S CLASS

We offer a newcomer's class on the first Sunday of every month after our 2:30 PM service (from around 4-5 PM). This is the best way way to learn more about us and for us to learn more about you! We think this class is the best way to start the journey to living out the Jesus-shaped life together with us.

WORSHIP SERVICES

Sunday afternoons at 2:30 PM. We meet Sunday afternoons because there is limited meeting space in the Freeland area and we are currently using a building that already holds Sunday morning services. We have found that many people enjoy the afternoon service time (between lunch and dinner). Eventually we do plan on adding Sunday morning services once we are able to obtain our own building space.

Our services are held at 8445 Webster Rd. in Freeland, directly across the road from Freeland High School/Middle School. We are renting the First Baptist Church building (no affiliation).

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON SUNDAY AFTERNOONS?

You'll first encounter a friendly group of people who are smiling and welcoming. You'll likely hear pre-service music being played from the sanctuary.

Our building is single-level, meaning that our friends with mobility issues or parents with baby-strollers will have no trouble getting around.

There are always people that would be happy to answer questions including what children's or teen meetings are happening, where the restrooms are, or any other questions you may have.

In addition to friendly and helpful people, you'll also experience great music, hear a great message, the opportunity to take communion with the rest of the church, and an opportunity to receive prayer. At the close of our service, you'll have the opportunity to join us for coffee, light refreshments, and a time of fellowship to build relationships and make connections (only if you're comfortable - no obligation to stay!)

WHAT DO I WEAR?

We care about you, not what you wear, but most people dress casually.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY CHILDREN WHEN I VISIT THE VINEYARD?

Parents with infants are welcome to use our nursery space at any time during our service. As we grow, we intend on having a fully staffed nursery from the moment our guests arrive.

We dismiss Preschool-5th Grade each Sunday for Kid's Church after communion (about 25 minutes into the service).

WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY 6-12th GRADE STUDENT(S)?

Every Thursday night during the school year, we host M.A.D. House Youth (Grades 6-12) from 6-7 PM. During the Summer, youth meet for monthly special events. We have games, activities, challenges, snacks, and small group time. Our aim is to help all community teens to Make A Difference (M.A.D.)
